It is Monday again.
And of course the sun comes out after a weekend of vile weather
Did make a pretty weather map though
So now my house looks like a professional but very low-cost laundry with clothes airers filled with socks and jocks and no doubt the electricity company is rubbing hands with glee at the amount of power consumption as I tried to avoid the cold.
(yes I know, not a blizzard but you guys know what a wuss I am when it comes to the cold)
Given that I was not venturing out anytime without a good reason, I decided that the only sensible thing to do was …yeah, you know…was paint.
I am really making this monster painting happen. When an artist says they start with a house brush and end with a needle, that is exactly how it works
My Brushes so far in approximate order. Currently working with the small ones on the right as I add detail and shading.
So for your perusal, I am including a slideshow including closeups so you can really see what progress I made on Saturday (and a little bit this morning as I avoided the household chores and made the most of the morning sun).
Now I need to wash the green off my fingernails and think about getting ready for work.
Only 5 more shifts until I can chuck my keys in the safe and say goodbye to the place for a couple of weeks.
Not that I am counting or anything.
